anyways.. i thought ranting on the Death Note ending would be appropriate right now... since im tired and stressed

OMG!!! I fjklwea;fk a;fkel;waj hate the ending! It was such an awesome manga too! The conclusion was totally unfufilling!

Now, I know Light had to die but the way they killed him is completely pathetic, to think that Light would have at least died in a noble and dignified way. If the situation were real, then this probably would be the most likely outcome. Anyone would snap if they were backed into a corner like that. But lets face it, it’s fictional and by killing Light off with such an ungraceful death, the author failed completely to give the audience satisfaction. Also light seems to lose his touch towards the end, maybe it’s the author’s method of drawing faith from the audience. It worked, by the third last book I had no doubt that Light was going to lose.
And Near… Soon after he made an appearance it’s clear of Light’s defeat, since Near’s got the upper hand the whole time. That pissed me off, to be honest Near was way less lovable than L even if their goal was the same.
I detest this ending. I think it is cruel for the author to make Light so likable then portray him as a piece of garbage begging for mercy during his final moments. In this manga there’s no good or evil side to it, it all depends on your view of justice. For me, it was as same as Light’s and I would have cried if I weren’t so mad. Finally, the ending was a pathetic use of irony. The fact Ryuk killed Light made his death even less honorable.
